When doing our daily activities, we often have different thoughts about what we are going to do. Sometimes these thoughts will emerge when we are clarifying the truth or passing out Dafa materials to strangers in Mainland China: "Will he turn me in? Will he accept the materials?" When telling my relatives that Falun Dafa is good, I was afraid that this would make them feel uneasy. When I was revealing the evilness to my clients, a thought occurred to me "Will they stop doing business with me for fear of being affected by the persecution?"
Why do all these negative thoughts still emerge even though my main consciousness is focused on Fa-rectification cultivation and what I should do to assist in Fa-rectification?
Our Master said, "Human being's thoughts are active. All kinds of thoughts can emerge due to the function of disorderly post-natal notions and various types of karma. Without these things, you will find that one's mind is clean and clear."("Lecture in New Zealand" - unofficial translation). I realized that selfish disorderly notions and an unstable righteous belief in the Fa are the roots of all negative factors.
Our Master also said, "The enlightenment I'm talking about is whether you can treat everything with righteous thoughts during your cultivation. This sentence of mine exactly describes enlightenment in Dafa cultivation." ("Lecture in Eastern United States" - unofficial translation)
Master's words gave me a sudden realization. I started to pay attention to my everyday thoughts and concentrate my efforts to rectify all of them. If a single negative thought emerges in my mind, I must eliminate it right away, regardless of the time or location that the negative thought occurs, or the particular thing that brings it up. Then I feel extremely fulfilled and filled with light. I can take advantage of the opportunities for clarifying the truth, revealing evil, saving beings at any time, and speaking to people with confidence. Everything is so natural and peaceful, even if the other side has a negative reaction, this does not affect my heart. At this time I enlightened that when our mind is purer and clearer, the surrounding negative factors weaken, even disappear. Master said, "Indestructible righteous thoughts toward the cosmos' Truth form benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, Vajra Bodies; they frighten all evil, and the light of Truth they emanate makes the unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate. However strong the righteous thoughts are, that's how great the power is."("Master's comments: Also in a Few Words")
Looking back, it is really true that the great Tao cultivation is the simplest. Master said, "A person's every thought is built on a long period of cultivation."("Lectures in the United States - Teaching the Fa in New York City") I'll keep diligently making progress in the Fa and discard everything impure and weak-minded. Whatever I do in Fa-rectification must match the title of a Dafa disciple.
