This painting vividly portrays one of the many horrible tortures that the torturers at detention centers, prisons and forced labor camps in China most commonly use on Falun Gong practitioners who refuse to give up their belief in Falun Gong. This is an extremely cruel type of torture. Many Falun Gong practitioners have lost the use of their arms after being hung in the air by the arms for long periods of time. While being hung in the air, Falun Gong practitioners are often subject to beatings by clubs or sticks, as well as beatings by leather whips.
