Birds in My Garden

Birds I enjoy watching in my garden

Lovely sounds they make.

Sweet and graceful are they who flutter hither and thither.

Here now, there now, which way is the nearest tree?

Birds I enjoy watching in my garden.

Life

Windchimes blow

Like sun the light sheds

The window turns to white

Wherein I find my joy.

Winter

Seasons change

The window batters

In the end,

all but a passing thought.

Journey

Ocean waves flow

Raindrops fall

Journeying,

I am nowhere but on Earth

Spring

Bells ring

Grass in spring

Where sun shines,

No raindrops fall

Summer

Lotus leaves on the lake

Cloudless sky

Sun lights the Earth,

Happiness blooms in the air.

Tides

Consciousness turns to liquid dust

Like empty shells the people wash the shore

A rainbow fills the sky

Flowers bloom abundantly

Seasons

Her rosy face

Icy cold

Where once were cherry blossoms

Now fade in the midst.

Autumn

Birds wither

Clouds cover the air

Leaves fall

Like golden suns

Arba

Trees bloom

Like green grass

The air warms the earth

Where forests spring beneath the ground
