[PureInsight.org] Jiubao is a Japanese friend of mine. One day, he told me that his wife had injured her hip and couldn’t walk well, and it would take her two weeks to recover. His relatives were visiting next week from far away, so his wife was worried that the guests would complain because she wouldn’t be able to take good care of them. Jiubao wanted me to have a look at his injured wife.
I went to Jiubao’s home and examined his wife. I pasted several rapeseeds next to her ears and told her to press the seeds against her skin every two hours, assuring her that she should be fine after doing this three times. Later, Jiubao told me that his wife thought I was boasting and didn’t believe me. But when she found herself completely recovered after the third time pressing the seeds, she could hardly believe it and thought she must be dreaming.
Two years later, I met Jiubao again in Japan. He had suffered a mild stroke and his life was hampered by it. I sighed over this and the unpredictability of life. When he asked me to treat him, I said, “Now you can learn a Qigong system called Falun Gong, which is very good. It is very easy to learn and free of charge. I am practicing it now. I can teach you if you want.”
Jiubao asked me what Falun Gong was based on, so I told him my understandings. “All the methods of regaining health that are based on Yin-Yang and the Theory of the Five Elements are at the level of Qi and will only work when you’re recovering.”
“However, the practice of Falun Gong is at a different level. Its practitioners follow the principles of ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance’ and cultivate high-level energy. You can practice more intensively when you have time and practice less when you don’t. There are no requirements for the location of practice and it is therefore very convenient. Everyone will benefit from it as long as one follows the requirements in practicing Falun Gong.”
Jiubao told me later that he felt very good after practicing Falun Gong.
