[PureInsight.org] On May 29 - 31, 2015, Falun Gong practitioners from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Canada and the Netherlands attended the Ukrainian Fa Conference. During the three day period of the Fa Conference, Falun Gong practitioners also had a peaceful protest in front of the Chinese Embassy. They explained to passers–by what Falun Gong is, clarified the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, demonstrated the exercises and performed dances including a dragon dance on the Boardwalk in the heart of Kiev. At the Fa Conference practitioners shared their experiences and how they have elevated in cultivation.

At the series of downtown truth clarification activities, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises and performed dances, dragon dance and drums, displaying cultivators’ joy and harmony. They received citizens’ and tourists’ love: onlookers requested to take pictures with practitioners wearing Han costumes, took pictures of themselves next to practitioners practicing the exercises for the memories, imitated Falun Gong practitioners’ movements in the middle of the big lotus or took live videos to send to friends and family.

Ukraine’s current political situation is unstable. Ukrainian citizens said that during such an unstable period, Falun Gong practitioners’ meditation displayed an unexpected serenity. They really wanted to sit with them.
