The Wish

Oh most precious seed,

Planted deep in the soil

Buried below,

By long lifetimes of toil

From the best merchant prince,

To fine king, lord, or drake

None save one wishing,

A truly fine life shall make

As was said in the past,

Upon asking - receiving

But scarce can be found,

Those in delusion believing

Therefore hard is the time,

Of the seed taking root

But sweet is the joy,

Of its tree bearing fruit

And to all of the questions,

Asked since before one's life birth

Know such a wish when is answered,

Shall shake heaven and earth.
