Masterpiece Ceiling Paintings by Michelangelo

A Western Dafa Disciple

PureInsight | October 20, 2003

[PureInsight.org] As a Dafa Disciple I would like to offer my impression of pictures from one of the most famous paintings depicting western divine worlds. They were done by Michelangelo, an outstanding Renaissance artist. You can find these artefacts inside the Sistine Chapel in Rome.

I was simply inspired by Teacher's explanation during the "Teaching the Fa at the Discussion on Creating Fine Art." There, He pointed out while looking at the wall and ceiling paintings, He has still hope for humankind and further made the statement, "Is there a limit to humans drawing Gods? No there's isn't. The vast cosmos, and everything that is in the immense cosmic universe… when human beings truly believe in Gods and truly go about depicting Gods, Gods will show those things to human beings. It is the most perfect, most sacred, and what mankind yearns for and their most wonderful resting place. Therefore, what the works can depict is boundless."

I personally regard these paintings as an impressive reference and inspiration, and I am convinced Dafa disciples based on their insight of the Fa, and in connection with the upright Gods of Dafa, will move beyond it. Please point out kindly if I am wrong.

The powerful eyes of God are meeting the expectant eyes of Adam. From the right finger the divine thought is moving towards Adam and is giving to the first human, made of earth substances, life.
