[PureInsight.org] One day, Master suddenly made me understand the deeper meaning hidden within the words "thinking" and "concern".
It turns out that “thinking” is like an examination of the mind, a test of each thought that arises. The moment a person has a thought, he is already answering the test. In other words, a person's entire life is an ongoing cultivation exam — every moment one is answering questions and being assessed. As for “concern”, it means the human mind is being manipulated—filled with suffering, no longer in control of itself. These two seemingly ordinary words contain profound meanings related to cultivation.
When we encounter a situation and begin to think or act on a thought, we are already answering the test. In that very moment, Master and divine beings are watching to see how we choose and how we act: whether we act from human attachment or transcend it, whether we are thinking in accordance with Fa (the universal law). If we are thinking based on Fa at every moment, we elevate our level at every moment and simultaneously dissolve karma—just that fast. Do you believe it?
The word “concern” is, upon careful reflection, rather frightening. Why do people worry? Because human attachments are at work. On a deeper level, to worry is to be manipulated. High-level beings arrange events in people’s lives, using human attachments, emotions, and desires to manipulate the human mind—trapping people in troubles, emotions, conflict, and suffering—so as to achieve their intended outcomes. People are like puppets, yet they mistakenly believe they are in control of their lives. It is both sorrowful and lamentable.
Only cultivators of Dafa, under the guidance of the Master, can truly see through all of this. Only then can one understand that: there are no accidents in life, every single thing is a test, and every thought is being graded and recorded. Master is arranging opportunities for us. We must treat every conflict, every moment of reflection in cultivation seriously. If we fail to cherish them, if we fail to guard every single thought, we may miss many opportunities, hinder our progress, and waste countless chances to elevate ourselves—opportunities that the Master painstakingly arranged.
True cultivation requires solid, gradual removal of human attachments through thoughts, actions, and intentions. When sudden conflicts arise, or unusual events stir our minds, the moment we begin to think—we are already being tested. Don’t continue letting your human mind control you, forgetting your identity as a cultivator. Don’t keep pushing away these tests or repeatedly failing them without even realizing it.
Thinking is testing the human mind. Concern is being controlled by the human mind. Let go of those thoughts. Step beyond the human self— and walk toward the divine.
