 BEIJING

Smiles gold
by State-control,
on darkest wing
and inhuman sting,
talons and claws
where no rule of law,
silence for trade
the shameless parade.

One-party reign
a beast untamed,
behind the lies
such endless crimes,
bloodstained hands
no conscience to stand,
from an evil lair,
how long to bear?

Terror and fear
the fall of tears,
with eyes turned blind
poisoning minds,
many rights denied
with much to hide,
and freedom may sing
but not in Beijing!

SAILS

Sails across horizons
having braved many a storm and sea,
towards the sunrise
and ever beyond
until new realms come to be.

Sails bearing promise
from here to the most distant shores,
under brightest skies
through the passage of time
countless hearts following the call.
