The year 2016 will mark the ninth anniversary since Shen Yun’s first debut in 2007. A brand new set of programs will be presented to the world. People will get to see stories of ancient Chinese legends, historical events and heroic figures. With colorful costumes, animated backdrops, unique choreography, enchanting music and solos, Shen Yun will once again bring back the beauty and quintessence of 5000 years of Chinese culture to the world.
More than ten Texas state officials have declared December 22, 2015 through January 2, 2016 as Houston’s “Shen Yun Performance Days” and January 1 through January 10 as Dallas’s “Shen Yun Performance Days”.

Shen Yun Performing Arts was first established in 2006 in New York. Its mission is to revive authentic Chinese divine culture to the whole world. Shen Yun has already attracted many world-class artists, many of whom have won various international awards in dancing competitions, dance choreography and musical contests. From just one troupe at the very beginning, Shen Yun now has four troupes and four orchestras. Every year, Shen Yun travels around the whole globe to present its shows in more than 100 cities across the world.
