One Thought

A single thought of a person might be of utmost importance.

Some people say: Falun Gong has nothing to do with me. Perhaps, when someone is suppressed or even beaten to death, you think it has nothing to do with you, because you are not involved. However, when you hear about Falun Gong, when you hear someone is abused cruelly, there will be a thought in your mind. Since this thought belongs to you, it definitely has something to do with you.

If you feel indifferent, or if there is abhorrence or animosity in your heart for no reason, such a thought belongs to you, and that thought of yours would normally dictate your conduct. When you see a Falun Gong practitioner in danger, this thought of yours will decide whether you will help him out or you would rather help the evil people to harm him further. This conduct is done by you, and it definitely has something to do with you.

If you are duped by those vicious lies and harbor hostility toward Falun Gong, when someone who doesn’t know anything about Falun Gong talks with you about this issue, this thought in your mind will decide whether you will say Falun Gong is good or not, and your words will influence that person’s attitude toward Falun Gong. When your words and behavior have affected others, your behavior is yours, and these effects are also attributable to you. All of these definitely have something to do with you.

If, some day in the future, you find that this thought of yours has been wrong, and that, because of this thought, you have hurt the most innocent people in the world, and you have done something equivalent to hitting a person when he is down, your pains will never let you forget your regret and guilt.

Therefore, please do not perfunctorily jump to conclusions about things you do not yet understand. Please come to find out the truth about Falun Gong. And please be responsible for this thought of yours.
