In a Few Words: New Understanding from Reading Han Xin's Story in Zhuan Falun

A Dafa Practitioner in North America

[PurInsight.org] In the section "Cultivation of Speech" in Zhuan Falun, Teacher says "Perhaps it will unintentionally hurt someone."  While studying Zhuan Falun
lecture nine where it talks about the story of Han Xin, I had a
thought:  Han Xin was just wearing the sword, but that upset the
ruffian.  I think one's actions carry the same consequences as
one's speech. You think you haven't done anything at all, but you may
have brought about some negative consequences.  As a cultivator we
require ourselves to do things based on the Fa.  Han Xin may have
worn a sword because of a desire to show off.  In addition, I
think what Teacher said "full of great aspirations while minding minor
details"  is also talking about another aspect of the issue.
