[PureIngishgt.org] According to a report from the Epoch Times on August 1: on July 30, 2015, local Maori chief in the Auckland area of New Zealand's North Island, Amato Akarana, filed an official lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. On the morning of July 30, chief Amato signed and stamped both the English and Chinese versions of the lawsuit at his house in Auckland. It was then delivered to the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate through fast mailing services.

“I know that, inside China and around the world, more than 100,000 people have stood up and filed criminal complaints concerning this person who initiated the persecution. In New Zealand, in my Maori land, more than 70 people have sued Jiang. I am very impressed with their courage and completely support their great efforts,” Chief Amato said.

This action of Chief Amato signals that Chinese people are not the only people suing Jiang anymore. The wave of suing Jiang has extended to the international community, and it is moving toward a situation when all humanity stands up against the persecution.

Chief Amato learned about Falun Dafa a long time ago. After watching DVDs on the persecution of Falun Gong in China, he and his family were brought to tears by the suffering that Falun Gong practitioners have gone through. “[Falun Gong's teaching of] Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is humankind's great spiritual foundation,” he said. “In my family, in my tribe, there are many Falun Gong practitioners. For many years I have regarded Falun Gong practitioners as part of my family.”

“Maori condemn those who persecute good people. Live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners is a crime against humanity. Maori will not tolerate this crime. I also understand that Jiang Zemin has extended the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners to New Zealand, and we will not allow that to happen,” he said.

On May 8, 2009, at an event organized by Falun Gong practitioners celebrating the tenth anniversary of Master Li’s lecture in New Zealand, Chief Amato issued a proclamation to Falun Gong, proclaiming the week of May 7 “New Zealand Falun Dafa Week” on behalf of the Aotearoa Tangata Whenua Maori, Faa Samoa, Pacifica, Sovereign Council of Chiefs.

This year at the celebration of Falun Gong founder Master Li Hongzhi’s birthday, Chief Amato joined Falun Dafa practitioners at Mission Bay. “Happy birthday, Master Li! And thank you very much for all the blessings you have brought us,” he said at the celebration.

I remember when Wang Zhiwen, the coordinator of the Falun Dafa Research Association in Beijing was released, Chief Amato invited him to live in his country. Chief Amato is a kind person who regards Falun Gong practitioners as part of his family. He has placed Falun Dafa at a very high position. He represents not only the 400,000 inhabitants of Maori, but also all ethnicities who have high respect and admiration for the Great Law of the universe. Chief Amato’s noble actions will bring his people and the people of New Zealand a beautiful future!

Today, Falun Dafa has been spread to every corner of the world, and the principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance” have become the universal values for all humankind. They are respected by people all over the world. The 16-year-long persecution that Falun Gong practitioners in China have suffered is concerning many kindhearted people in the world. There have been many, like Chief Amato, who have paid special attention to the experience of Falun Gong practitioners.

The research team formed by former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific and Member of Parliament, David Kilgour, and human rights lawyer David Matas published “Revised Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China.” The research has confirmed that from 2000 to 2005, China has conducted at least 60,000 organ transplants. At least 40,000 of the organs very possibly came from Falun Gong practitioners.

The book Bloody Harvest: Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China, coauthored by Kilgour and Matas, called forced organ harvesting “an evil crime, unseen in this planet.” In order to help end this persecution, the two of them have travelled to many countries.

The U.S. congressmen who issued H.Res.601, H.R. 281, and H. Res. 343 have been working hard on halting the crime of live organ harvesting and ending the persecution of Falun Gong. Their efforts are very admirable.

Taiwanese attorney Theresa Chu, spokesperson for the Falun Gong Human Rights Lawyer Group, has been travelling around to call for an end to the persecution.

The signature collection campaign, which aims to jointly report Jiang Zemin's crimes initiated by the Falun Gong Human Rights Lawyer Group in Taiwan and Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong and Taiwan, received 137,184 signatures in Asia within one month since July 2015. All the petitions will be sent to China's Supreme People's Procuratorate and Supreme People's Court from different nations.

In Canada, Australia, Europe, Africa, etc., many touching stories have taken place in the political and other fields of society for ending this persecution. I will not list them here. A good predestined relationship will definitely end with a good outcome. All nations, ethnic groups and people who are tirelessly working hard on stopping this bloody persecution and restoring the peace and beauty that humankind should have will definitely have a bright future!
