Busy Yet Organized

[PureInsight.org] Some practitioners are very busy every day; they may be busy with work, with chores around the house, with Dafa work, or with sharing with other practitioners. Their mind is not at peace and this has made them unable to truly study and understand the Fa. Furthermore, there are some who are too busy even to eat or sleep and they are unable to practise the exercises every day. As days go by, they know that their state of cultivation is not right; there hasn't been an effective breakthrough due to the limitations of the physical body.

So, what exactly is the cause behind this constant state of busyness that a cultivator can’t overcome? Master told us in Zhuan Falun, “matter and mind are one thing” and “one’s gong level is as high as one’s xinxing level”. Some practitioners have come to the understanding that the ability to solve problems is a manifestation of an enlightened being’s level and power. The higher a cultivator’s level, the more things they can handle and the more capable they are at solving problems. My understanding is that to achieve a real state of busyness that is also very organized, is the equivalent of melting into the Fa, since everything is simply “following the energy mechanisms”. (The Great Way of Spiritual Perfection)

In reality, chaotic busyness is caused by poor coordination and by failing to follow the requirements of the Fa to truly cultivate oneself. Dafa Disciples should be busy, yet organized, with a benevolent heart. When we are in a constant state of disorganized busyness, we are actually trapped in the thing itself and our heart will be affected by the outside world. But cultivation is to go beyond the realm of ordinary people, to transcend the understandings and notions of ordinary people, and to truly “cultivate one’s own heart and inner self” (Zhuan Falun); to change oneself from within.

There are different requirements at different levels of the Fa. Often we are just on the surface with a shallow understanding of the Fa, instead of truly melting into the Fa. Take a Dafa project as an example—practitioners who are involved have their own ideas, which partly come from different understandings of the Fa due to their different levels in cultivation practice. But instead of cooperating, they each share and pursue their own understandings, but to no avail, wasting precious Dafa resources and a huge amount of time, which should be used to save sentient beings. They have made things more complicated for themselves and so have become busier.

Master said in Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A., “So what's their state of mind? It's tolerance, an extremely immense tolerance, being able to accept other beings, and being able to truly think from other beings' perspectives. This is something a lot of you haven't achieved yet in your cultivation, but you're gradually catching on and achieving it. When another God proposes an idea, they aren't eager to reject it, they aren't eager to express their own ideas and they don't believe that their own ideas are good. Instead, they look at what the end result of the other God's proposed approach will be. The paths are different. Everyone's path is different. The truths that beings validate and enlighten to in the Fa are also different, but the results might very well be the same. That's why they look at the results and if the result of a God's idea can achieve the goal, if it can truly achieve it, then all of them will go along with it. That's how Gods think. Also, if there's something lacking in it they'll unconditionally and quietly supplement it to make things more complete and perfect. That's how they handle things.”

We know from the Fa that Master said in Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A., “true improvements come from letting go, not from gaining”.

When a practitioner who is leading a project raises an idea, other practitioners—whether they are coordinators or project leaders—should let go of themselves and cooperate as one body. The process of cooperation is a process of letting go of oneself. Every Dafa disciple is like an energy channel. If we can all let go of ourselves and cooperate as a whole, we will achieve the state of “without any energy channels or acupuncture points” (Zhuan Falun).

We will be busy, yet organized.

The above are my current understandings. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
