With One Thought [Mie], Lust Demon Dies

A Dafa disciple

[PureInsight.org] I had a dream recently in which I was standing in a vegetable garden. Suddenly, a fairy appeared before me. My intuition told me: This is the lust demon. I need to beat it to death! So, I raised my arms above my head, hands in fists, as though I were wielding a tool to toss at it. In actuality, I wasn't holding anything in my hands. I just had the thought to act as though I were wielding a tool in my hands. I beat the lust demon down, but it was still there breathing. It didn't die. I seemed to come to my senses somewhat at this point, and realized I wasn't holding anything in my hands to beat the demon with. So, what's the point of using my hands? Just directly eliminate it. So, I sent forth the thought: “Mie” (eliminate) at the demon. As I silently thought the character for Mie (滅), I saw the demon disintegrate immediately. At the same time, tiny fragments of the demon's body exploded out in all directions.

Immediately afterwards, I woke up from the dream. I had a vague realization that I had indeed just eliminated the lust demon. I then weighed up how I had actually done in that whole process. My first thought was to use human means—to use a tool to hit it. Although I had beaten it down, I was unable to completely defeat it. Fortunately, my second thought was to think of “Mie.” With one thought I solved the “problem.” This led me to recall a section from Zhuan Falun, “As a person sits there, without moving his hands or feet, he is able to do what others cannot do even with their hands and feet...”

It was apparent that it had already become habitual for me to employ human thinking. But for a Dafa disciple, what's required of us is to constantly transform notions, and use righteous thoughts like a god. In fact, it goes without saying that such is our true, original self. Whenever a problem emerges, using divine thoughts will immediately solve the problem.

I've just written out my own experience and realizations to share with other fellow cultivators. Let's be diligent together, and walk towards godhood!
