The Last Attachment in Fa-Rectification

Human Attachments to Things from Dafa:

In his article, "Eliminate Your Last Attachment(s)," Master Li said,

"...is being attached to reaching Consummation an attachment? Isn't it also an attachment born of human desire?"

Now, three years later, we know that no individual Consummation can compare with Fa-rectification. Our own future and all lives in the cosmos depend on Fa-rectification, and much of our efforts are focused on its success. What can possibly be more important than Fa-rectification? While we are still cultivating and still have human attachments, we could develop human attachments to Fa-rectification.

Earlier this year, in Canada, Master Li reminded us that,

"The whole cultivation process of a Dafa disciple is a process of removing human attachments."

If we should remove all human attachments, then we should also remove human attachments to higher things such as Consummation and Fa-rectification? Of course, Consummation and Fa-rectification are not human things. However, while we are still cultivating in this world, human notions and attachments could interfere with our thoughts about them. Those human notions and attachments should be removed.

The Intention is Important:

In my opinion, our wish for Fa-rectification should arise from Zhen-Shan-Ren. Otherwise, the wish for Fa-rectification may involve human attachments which can create gaps that may harm others and oneself.

In section "Stealing Qi," in Zhuan Falun, Master Li said,

"Because he has a bad intention and steals something from others, though he has stolen something not good, he has also committed a deed that loses de. Therefore, he will give you de."

That example in "Stealing Qi" seems to illustrate an important general principle: even if one does a good thing, one will lose de when it is done with bad intentions.

Then it may be possible for a practitioner to lose something very precious even when clarifying the truth if done with certain human attachments with intention to gain something from it. In my opinion, if one works for Dafa with an intention to gain something with human attachments, it may be possible to not gain anything or even lose de or drop in level.

Loss and Gain:

Last year, in Philadelphia, Master Li reminded us that,

"...true improvement comes from letting go, not from gaining."

That is the process of cultivation. It seems that the principle of "no loss, no gain", which we learned from Zhuan Falun, applies to all sentient beings in the cosmos, including Fa-rectification disciples. Due to the boundless grace of Dafa, what we gain is far more than what we lose, but we cannot gain something for nothing. It seems that in order to attain Dafa, to become worthy of Dafa, one should be able to let go of human notions and attachments for things from Dafa. Of course, we will not give up Dafa. Our human notions of Dafa are at best very limited and tiny aspects of Dafa. As part of cultivation, I believe that we should give up human attachments to Dafa and Fa-rectification, including human attachments to what we might gain from them.

Conclusion:

Then what should motivate us to work so hard to clarify the truth and validate the Fa? We should be motivated by Zhen-Shan-Ren. Only thoughts and actions arising from Zhen-Shan-Ren should clarify the truth and validate the Fa.

This is just my comprehension of the Fa at my current level.
