[PureInsight.org] Christmas is an important holiday in the west. A lot of Chinese and western Falun Gong practitioners from around the world who have come to New York City to clarify the truth about the persecution against Falun Gong attended a Christmas Party in Manhattan's midtown. Our Teacher graced the party with his presence.
After a delectable Christmas dinner, Falun Gong practitioners performed a Chinese comic dialogue (or Xiang Sheng), a sword dance, other dance routines, and singing by a choir. In addition, Chinese and western Falun Gong practitioners sang Christmas songs together. Teacher came to wish everyone Merry Christmas. He also talked about the progress that Falun Gong practitioners have made in their truth-clarification work in Manhattan.
Since August of 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from around world have gathered in Manhattan and used a variety of methods, including holding torture exhibits and passing out flyers, to expose the horrible persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China, They hope to help the world's people learn about the persecution that is taking place in China and help end the persecution. The truth clarifying work in Manhattan is continuing. The Christmas gathering in 2004 is the first time that Falun Gong practitioners from around the world have celebrated Christmas together in New York City.
