[PureInsight.org] After breakfast one day, my wife asked me to go out and run some errands. I didn’t have much motivation to do it, but I still got in the car and drove away.
It was early in the morning, and the breeze was refreshing and a bit chilly. The grass and trees were green after the recent rain, and it was very quiet on the road. Looking at the trees and grass nearby and far away, I suddenly had an entirely new feeling.
After beginning to cultivate, I realized that one should use their heart to understand the things that they come across and become enlightened to the Fa principles by looking within. But now I came to understand that although we use the word “heart,” it is actually referring to the most fundamental elements of our life. At this moment, beings from various origins are gathering here. It is indeed a rare opportunity and probably will not happen again in the future. When I feel upset or disappointed, isn’t it because I did not cherish this opportunity? If I were to see through the superficial phenomena in life and realize how precious these beings are, I would handle things differently from the way I used to.
During group sharing, some practitioners said that they could not concentrate when studying the Fa and did not know what to do. Upon hearing that, I thought to myself, “How is my Fa study? Do I also need to do better?” The Fa guides us on the path of returning to our origin, removes the filth, and corrects degeneration. The Fa also enlightens us to the appropriate behavior beings should demonstrate under various circumstances. Doesn’t this mean that we should assimilate everything we have to the Fa? Realizing this, we will no longer study the Fa with tainted human notions. When understanding this, I realized that I hardly know anything, and everything needs the Fa to guide the way. Now, upon opening Dafa books, I read them with my heart word-by-word and sentence-by-sentence.
Sometimes when hearing practitioners’ sharing and observing their behaviors, I understand even more the sacredness of cultivation. Dafa is guiding all of us to improve. Then, has our state reached the purity it is supposed to? At different levels, under all kinds of circumstances, when encountering the various attitudes of sentient beings, are we following the Fa and safeguarding the Fa while being responsible to sentient beings? When thinking this way, I really feel there is a long way to go with many responsibilities along the way.
