Gratefulness from the Depth of My Being

[PureInsight.org] Yesterday afternoon, when I listened to the song, “Reaching the Other Shore,” by Haolan Geng from the Shen Yun performance, I recalled when the evil blanketed everything in other dimensions on July 20, 1999. To release us from the pressure from the other dimensions, Teacher's divine body was shattered and his hair turned white [at that time].

As I think of this, tears well up in my eyes. I finally have a deeper understanding of “Teacher comes for us!” In the past, every time I thought of Teacher, my thoughts remained human thoughts: I saw something today, felt something the next day, or realized something the following day. Teacher gives us everything. Subconsciously, I didn't consider that what Teacher has given us are gifts and only considered that they were something Teacher should have done for his disciples. Even my gratefulness was superficial and I never really thanked Teacher from the depth of my being.

It wasn’t until yesterday that I finally realized that the origin of my life comes from Teacher! If there was no Teacher, my insignificant life wouldn’t exist. Yet this insignificant life is often like a naive child leading Teacher to worry. I was often complacent and developed an inflated ego over little things. Even when I said, “Everything comes from Teacher and Dafa,” I didn’t really deeply understand the meaning of that sentence.

Teacher, while May 13th has already passed, please accept my gratitude from the depths of my being. Thank you for giving me life. Thank you for giving me everything. Thank you for the efforts you have made for all of us.
