[PureInsight.org] I would like to talk with great freedom to benefit my fellow practitioners:
My attachments, sometimes as if they have no effect
Sometimes as if I have little effect and they move me
I know my core, but on the outside it is hard to reflect
I live encased in my so-called "needs", sometimes owned by them
A young lad, brimming with thoughts of the future
What shall I do with my life?
Shall I go to school, might that win me what I am seeking?
Full of thoughts of pursuit, what would those thoughts bring me?
Sometimes frightened
The form in which I manifest perplexes me
Honored
For me this is the greatest most honorable time
Mostly locked, the less I see the more I sacrifice, the greater the honor
I wish I could do so much better
Not sure what to do
Not sure when to do it
To Myself: Don't follow the old arrangements
My story: My whole life is made of arrangements. Countless things have happened to me for me to be able to understand the Fa. When I was in elementary school I heard about magic. I immediately believed, and I looked everywhere to find this magic. I lived at the bookstore.
One day, five years or so ago, I saw a book lying out at a local bookshop. I didn't know it, but the book was made of gold. After reading it for a while, I put it down, took the flyer that was placed in the book, and that was it. Years go by, I was practicing Tai Chi but I knew I hadn't found what was for me.
Walking through a park a man and a sign caught my eye. The man was practicing Falun Standing Stance. The sign told me more. The man saw me and came over, and told me about this system. He gave me a couple flyers and I was on my own again.
Next I spent my spare time looking at this practice on the Internet.
One day I was at a local oriental market and someone put a Falun Dafa workshop flyer on my car window. I was unable to attend the workshop, but I was well motivated to go to group practice.
When I went to group practice, there was no one there, but I noticed there was a longer practice on Saturdays, so I tried that. I have been practicing more than three years now. These three years have been the best three years of my existence.
One of my greatest honors is the people I am around. Thank you for your support!
