Don't Stray into Ordinary Matters While Clarifying the Truth

A Taiwanese Practitioner

[PureInsight.org] When
clarifying the truth we often encounter people who enjoy discussing
political and economic issues.  In these situations we need to be
aware that our aim is have them understand the truth of the persecution
of Falun Gong, not to debate matters of ordinary society.

Nine days ago, I was clarifying the truth to a Chinese person and he
brought up Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity.  Good heavens!
I have no idea what the Theory of Relativity is about.  All I
could say was that even such a genius as Einstein couldn't uncover the
mysteries of the universe, time-space, and the human body, so in the
end Einstein took up religious beliefs.

In situations like this, it is best if we can gently channel the
discussion toward the persecution and such topics.  Especially
with the progress of Fa-rectification, we have  uncovered the
CCP's live harvesting and sale of Falun Gong practitioner's organs,
this is one topic we should definitely bring up.

I know a local practitioner who originally didn't learn how to use a
computer.  In order to clarify the truth he gradually learned how
to operate a computer.  Now every day at the Tuidang Center
through clarifying the truth he regularly convinces 20 to 30 people to
quit the party.  He says the way he clarifies the truth is
simple:  he discusses the persecution and withdrawing from the CCP
only, and spends as little time as possible chatting about ordinary
topics.

This practitioner says, "In truth, in discussing politics or economics
we aren't necessarily more knowledgeable than ordinary people."
If we aren't attentive and our hearts are moved by ordinary matters and
we fail to discuss the most important issue, instead debating unrelated
matters, we are holding up the saving of sentient beings.
