What a Western Practitioner Saw in Other Dimensions (7)

A Western Dafa Disciple

[PureInsight.org] When we sat down to send righteous thoughts, I saw a phoenix come out of my wife’s body engulfed in flames. First I saw its burning wings open up, and then the phoenix whizzed out. A dragon and the phoenix flew around me and my wife. When we erected our palms, they looked so majestic that evil would certainly be scared and people would feel great respect for them. To be honest, I was shocked when I saw their appearance the first time. If an ordinary person saw this, he would surely be scared by the majesty and the energy.

The dragon spurted flames continuously. The evil beings within a certain scope were eliminated. I didn’t command the dragon to do that because I was pretty sure he knew what to do and how to do it. The dragon sometimes flew to China to fight and sometimes he eliminated the evil beings in the Three Realms. He was busy all over the place. His speed was beyond space-time and our concept of distance. He could come and go freely.

The phoenix’s eyes emitted electrical energy like a laser. They were as bright as two suns. The far-away evil beings were eliminated instantly. Then the phoenix flew farther to eliminate more evil beings. I seldom saw the dragon or phoenix fight with low-level evil beings or rotten ghosts. Whenever the dragon or the phoenix showed up, the evil within a certain scope was disintegrated immediately. The evil had no chance to fight. From then on, my wife and I paid more attention to sending forth righteous thoughts.

When we did the exercises, I saw the thing which was burning on each feather of the phoenix looked like a flame but it was not the flame of the human dimension. More accurately speaking, the feather was made out of flames. The back and tail plumage of the phoenix had five colors: black, white, red, blue and yellow. This is just describing it with human language. In fact, it looked more like energy. The colors don’t exist in the human world. The flames were mostly on the wings and the top of the body. It was so brilliant. When my wife fell asleep while doing the exercises, the phoenix revolved around my wife like a hurricane to protect her. It happened in another dimension because I noticed that the candle in our house was not blown out by the hurricane.

My wife thought that the old forces had made some insidious arrangement for her. They kept playing tricks. The manifestation in this dimension was that her main consciousness didn’t predominate. After she decided that she must solve the problem without any delay, she sprung into action. Of course Master gave her the thought. But I didn’t see the phoenix until then. Ever since then her cultivation state has been outstanding. She said that now when she looked at fellow practitioners around her, she really couldn’t help reminding them: the main consciousness should predominate. Otherwise, foreign spirits or human notions will control your mind. The manifestation is to fall asleep during the exercises, to be stressed out, to be absent-minded, to not be self-confident, and to entertain all sorts of ideas. When the main consciousness isn’t in control, the cultivated side is restrained, supernormal abilities can’t work and one can’t stay calm while doing things. My wife suggested utilizing righteous thoughts and supernormal powers intentionally, giving full play to the cultivated side, concentrating when doing things, and being rational and kind.

Her experience was that she kept reminding herself, “The main consciousness should predominate!” When necessary, she repeated this sentence in her mind. If time permitted, she repeatedly recited in her mind “Lunyu” many times with concentrated attention.

She knew about this because once in her dream Master called her to recite “Lunyu.” She could do it but she was not self-confident. She was afraid that her memory might go wrong so she borrowed a book from a fellow practitioner. However, some words in that book were so dark that she couldn’t read them. So she grabbed a book from another practitioner. The same thing happened. As a result, she didn’t recite it. After she woke up, she kept reciting “Lunyu” as long as time permitted. She didn’t want to disappoint Master. She also repeatedly read the article “Expounding on the Fa,” and the sections “Your Main Consciousness Should Predominate” and “Your Mind Must be Right.”

She also thought that determination was very important. One needs to make up his mind to believe Master and believe Master’s words. This belief is from head to toe, inside and out, from the microcosmic to the macrocosmic. One needs to put one’s whole life into believing Master, believing that Master will guide us and that Master will supply whatever we need—truly believing. “When disciples have ample righteous thoughts, Master has the power to turn back the tide” (Hong Yin II, “The Master-Disciple Bond”). Persevere in fully believing. It is not difficult, however it is not as easy as one might think. Sometimes you think you believe, but when you look back, you will find that at the time you didn’t fully believe. When you study the Fa well, naturally you will believe in Master and Dafa.

Also, it is important to send forth righteous thoughts to cleanse ourselves. Study the Fa with a calm and clean mind, seriously send righteous thoughts and clarify the truth in a down-to-earth manner. The result of these will be success because what Master arranges will definitely succeed. I realized that the three things complement each other.

While we meditated, I saw Master took me to a place. It was a headwater in the desert. The water was clean and sweet. The dragon and the phoenix guarded it together. It seemed that it was their home. The phoenix used its wings to blow winds to stop any sandstorms or pollution. The dragon was entrenched there and used its energy to protect the place. In that place the same thing happened day after day. The dragon and the phoenix fulfilled their duties and each did their own part. Their cooperation was seamless.

That place was mentioned by Master in my wife’s dream. In her dream, Master asked her to greet an eminent monk who came from that place. In the dream, my wife only saw my figure from behind and heard my voice. When I talked about the place with her, I suddenly thought that I should be able to find that place on the Internet. Sure enough, I did find that place on the map of China. However, even though my wife was from China, she had never heard of that place.

In my dream, I also waited for my wife. She and I were charging against enemies at separate places. But we were heading towards the same destination. I looked like General Yue Fei, holding a long spear. After I eliminated all the evil there, I flew to a vast expanse of flatland. There were two lines on the ground with twelve footing stones on each side. The stones looked too heavy to move. Since I arrived there a little bit earlier, I checked out the area quickly. In a moment my wife flew down. She wore the same armor as mine but you could tell she was a female soldier. She was holding a curved sword. When we met each other, I saw my twelve footing stones merge with her stones. Then they formed twelve new stones that were even stronger. She was the one I had been waiting for all my life. When I was a child, a voice had already told me her name.

The western practitioner to whom I introduced Dafa asked me whether I saw the phoenix recently. He said that one month ago he saw that I was about to see the phoenix. He said this was included in Master’s careful and thorough plan. Everything is approaching the human world step by step as planned. He said that he already saw what would happen in the future, but he couldn’t disclose a single bit. On our cultivation path, we need to walk each step well and diligently. In fact, as long as we put our feet on the footprints that Master has already laid out for us, we will succeed.

This western fellow practitioner obtained the Fa only one year ago. So it looks like time is really not important. One’s cultivation status has no relationship to the time one has cultivated. I think that what really matters is our wholehearted faith in Master and Dafa: whether we can believe, whether we can enlighten, and whether we can accomplish what we need to.
