How Magical It Is!

[PureInsight.org] When I read the article “How Magical It Is” written by a cultivator, I felt that their view of things was very different from that of everyday people and was quite unique. Their sharing also reminded me of something that happened to me at a showing of the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibit organized by Falun Dafa practitioners.

On the last day of the exhibit, a fellow practitioner arrived at the city center very early to distribute brochures about the exibit. An elderly woman passed by and said, “This is very beautiful. I appreciate art very much. Look at the piece of the piano player staying with the sleeping little girl embracing a book. It is really attractive. But I don’t feel well right now and I need to see a doctor at the Seventh Medical Center. I don’t think I have time to see it today. I’ll come next time.”

The practitioner thought that this was the last day of the exhibit and if the elderly lady missed this opportunity then she would have to wait a very long time to come to the next available exhibit.

So the practitioner said with a smile, “The Seventh Medical Center is nearby on the same street as the exhibit. You will pass by the expo on your way there. But today is the last day of the exhibit and I really don’t want you to miss it. These portraits were conceived and painted by Falun Dafa practitioners. The aim of the exhibit is to stop the wicked Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. These works of art are very pure and contain lofty inner meanings. The artists’ inspiration comes from respect towards God, reverence for the Heavens and love for all lives. I believe that viewing these portraits will improve your health.” The elderly woman agreed and thought it would only take her ten minutes or so to view all of the portraits. Besides, it was free and something she would rarely come across. Eventually, she walked into the exhibit hall.

After the elderly woman viewed the portraits, she was excited and said to the staff, “These portraits are wonderful. When I entered this place, the background music made me feel completely relaxed. I feel so comfortable that I don’t want to leave this place. Even more, I feel that I don’t need to see a doctor anymore. I have sensed a true self from these portraits. It is really magical. I have a feeling that I have seen them somewhere long ago.”

She pointed at the portrait “Position” and said, “I’ve come to understand that the reason why people arrive on this Earth is to wait for the truth and I’m able to return to my original world after I learn the truth.”

Isn’t this experience magical? Once people understand that the real meaning of life is to wait for the truth and when this kind of idea flashes through their minds, good fortune will surely come to them.
