[PureInsight.org] It has been nine years since Dafa first encountered persecution in the Three Realms. Every Dafa disciple wishes to end the persecution as soon as possible. But who will be able to end the persecution, and when?
We have searched for answers to this question for many years, and had many lessons in this regard. One of the first lessons came after the manifestation of our attachment to hoping that someone would give recognition to Falun Gong at the “17th Congress of People’s Representatives.” Later on, we displayed other attachments such as interpreting the seasons of Spring or Autumn as having a certain significance, thinking about the “18th Spring of Fa-rectification,” and even wishing Master would end the persecution. And still, even this year, we displayed attachments to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Looking back on these human notions, we can see that, in the end, each false hope withered and fell to the ground. What’s more, under the influence of these attachments, we may have brought losses to Dafa, and created obstacles in our efforts to save sentient beings.
So, who will end the persecution, and when? Master already told us the answer in 2001. But because of our strong attachments, we could not understand the true content of the Fa at that time. Master said in his “Lecture at the Fa Conference in Florida:”
“Actually, you've already made it through and done all of these magnificent things, and you've already established this type of mighty virtue. But you should do things even better, and you should continue on until the evil is completely eliminated. When you have all the people of the world, and all the people of China, see this evil drama for what it is, could the evil still have any effect? It will collapse.”
From this paragraph of Fa, my understanding is that we, Dafa disciples, need to end the persecution. When we have clarified the truth to everyone in the world, including all Chinese people, then the persecution will end. So we should not pursue any outside force or place hopes in external events – we have to be the main characters! Let’s send forth our righteous thoughts ever more powerfully until we eliminate the evil completely. We have to try our best to tell the truth and let everyone in the world and everyone in China recognize this evil persecution as soon as possible.
