Pondering in Front of the Consulate

Once again I sat in front of the consulate. Amid the silence on this dark night, being among the candlelight and the stream of passing vehicles I felt anger and sorrow. Heavenly decrees will not allow these dehumanized, brutal killings of Falun Dafa practitioners. These crimes will not be forgiven! What is awaiting the chief wretch and those scoundrels who persecuted and are still persecuting Dafa disciples is the severest reckoning for their crimes in history. Their lives will completely snuffed out, layer after layer, without mercy, to repay everything they have done. The candlelight flickered. Once more my heart sank. I thought of the fact that the practitioners in Mainland China and we are one body. We have our shares of responsibilities in the persecution they suffer. Master repeatedly gives us opportunities and repeatedly extends the time. In this somber time, what are the things that we cannot put aside? What humanness can we not break through? We should cherish this opportunity. Telling people of the cruel killings in China to awaken people’s consciences is our responsibility. Practitioners in China have already endured for 30 months. We are now sending forth righteous thoughts at set times and set locations. This only requires set times and locations. This “hardship” is nothing compared to what Mainland practitioners have suffered. What reasons do we have to keep us from coming out to participate in eliminating the evil forces? Master said, “If you don’t eliminate them, then they not only persecute you and restrain you but also persecute other students, other Dafa disciples.” (“Lecture at the Fa Conference in Florida,” January 2002) At this crucial moment we should assume the responsibilities of Dafa practitioners. We must do what we are supposed to do. This is not only being responsible for our own cultivation, but also being responsible to our fellow practitioners, to Dafa and to our eternal lives. This is a key step we need to take well and righteously. Let’s all take immediate actions. Every opportunity in itself may just be the last one. Because Master had told us, “With five minutes of sending forth righteous thoughts together, the evil in the Three Realms will never exist again—that’s how important this is” (“Fa Lecture at the Conference in Florida”).

The candlelight in the winter night looked like seeds of fire. Passing-by vehicles and people slowed down their pace. Supportive honking of car horns never ceased. Tonight I wondered: How many people with predestined relationships may have been brought here by this candlelight?
