A Prophecy from Jesus

“Let me tell you this – enlightened beings at a very high level arranged for this event that is happening today. Therefore everything that has evolved in the Cosmos was meant to pave the road for this event. Arrangements were made at the initial stage of formation of the Cosmos for the final major event. Therefore many events were probably arranged for the spreading of the righteous Fa for the very last time during the final period of ‘Last Havoc’ that is today.” (Unofficial translation from Explaining the Fa of Zhuan Falun by Mr. Li Hongzhi, no official English version published yet--Trans.)

The book of Matthew is the first book in the New Testament of the Bible. Attributed to a tax collector who became one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus, it is widely considered to be the most complete recording of the teachings of Jesus. The 5th chapter of the Book of Matthew, “The Sermon on the Mount,” is its most famous chapter. It describes the first lecture of Jesus to his followers. Many of the verses in that chapter, such as “You are the Salt of the Earth” and “You are the Light of the World,” are extremely well known.

In that chapter, Jesus said, “ Think not that I have come to abolish the Law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” (Matthew 5-17,18).

In the past, people have always thought that the “Law” mentioned by Jesus was the law of Judaism. Some versions of the Bible even describe it as “the Law of Moses” for so-called clarification purposes; but most versions still simply put it as “the Law.”

So what was Jesus referring to when he said the “Law?” In my opinion, Jesus was not referring to the laws of Judaism. In no other place anywhere in the Bible, did Jesus ever touch upon or tell his followers to obey the laws of Judaism. He said 'No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.' (Matthew 9-16). Because of what he said, Jesus angered the powerful Judaic establishment, and was crucified in the end.

The “Law” mentioned by Jesus carries special meaning and significance. It is a prophecy from a time long ago. In my opinion, Jesus was referring to the universal laws of “Truthfulness Benevolence Forbearance” that is being widely spread today when he spoke of the “Law.” When Jesus said that he was there to “fulfill…until all is accomplished,” I believe he was referring to the Fa-rectification process. Jesus also spelled out the scope of his mission very clearly, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel. ” (15-21).

Every single major event throughout history is related to the spreading of the Dafa today. Actually Jesus did prophesy what would happen at the end of the Earth. But his apostles had limited understanding of his teachings, and could not remember many things that he said. The reality is that Jesus did describe exactly what would be happening today in great detail.
