Constant Drip Wears Away a Stone: Selling a Car, the Towed-Away Car and Changing Airline Tickets

A Dafa Disciple

[PureInsight.org] Recently at
our Fa study site, a practitioner shared her experience on how to grasp
every opportunity to clarify the truth. I recorded it down and like to
share with everyone here.

Selling a Car

Practitioner A said that she had a car that often had problems, and she
knew that this type of car tended to have problems, so she had wanted
to sell the car for a while. Some practitioners suggested to her that
the car is also a life and it also contributed a lot for Dafa, and she
should keep it. After postponing the sale again and again, she finally
still decided to sell the car.

The buyer was purchasing the car for his wife and he asked practitioner
A write a receipt for him. So she wrote a receipt. She attached a note
to the receipt, asking the new owners to take good care of the car
because it had made great contributions to the cause of human rights in
China.

Soon, the buyer's wife called and said that she liked the car very much
and thanked practitioner A for selling her the car. She also asked
about the issue of human rights in China on the note. So practitioner A
talked about the beauty of Falun Gong and the persecution, and shared
her own experience of recovering from various diseases two or three
months after she started to practice Falun Gong. The buyer's wife was
very interested and practitioner A gave her the Dafa website. Before
long, the wife told the practitioner that she had visited the Dafa
website and would like the practitioner to teach her the exercises, and
she would also organize some more people to come to learn.

So selling the car has established a benevolent relationship.

The Towed-Away Car

Last January, while the Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance International
Art Exhibition was being displayed at The Renaissance Hotel in
Washington DC, a major snowstorm took place. Practitioner A went to
help at the exhibition, and parked her car at a parking spot on the
street in front of the hotel, thinking that there wouldn't be any
problem since the snowstorm was so heavy. Later on, because the storm
was too strong, she decided to spend the night at the hotel.

The next day when she was ready to go home, she found out that her car
had been towed away and she got a parking ticket of $250. Practitioner
A decided to pay the fine. But she also filed an appeal for $10 extra.
She attached a flyer for the art exhibition and "Witness to History" to
the appeal form. She wrote about why the art exhibition was organized
in her letter. In July of this year, practitioner A received a reply
from her appeal. The entire fine has been waived.

Changing an Airline Ticket

A practitioner came from a foreign country to testify at a hearing at
the U.S. Congress.  She came to expose how both her mother and her
younger brother have been illegally detained at labor camps in Mainland
China for practicing Falun Gong and the brutal persecution of Falun
Gong by the CCP. The hearing date changed unexpectedly. And she had to
stay in the U.S. longer than she had originally planned. She was
planning to purchase another airline ticket to fly home. Practitioner A
volunteered to call the airline on her behalf and see if it was
possible to change the ticket. During the phone call, practitioner A
explained clearly the reason and purpose of this practitioner's coming
to the US. The airline agreed to change her ticket.

Another practitioner came to the US congress to clarify the truth of
how the CCP has been harvesting organs from live Falun Gong
practitioners. She also had to stay in the US longer than she had
planned. Because of the busy schedule, the practitioner didn't have
time to call the airline before the original ticket had expired. The
ticket was actually wasted according to the airline regulation.
Practitioner A again called the airline and explained why the other
practitioner couldn't take the flight on time. Surprisingly, the
airline rebooked the return flight without asking the practitioner to
pay any penalties.

As long as we have the heart, we can clarify the truth through everything at any time.
