[PureInsight.org] On February
5, Falun Dafa disciples participated in the Chinese New Year parade in
Manhattan, New York City.  Tends of thousands of people watched
the parade. The Falun Gong team, composed of dragon dancers, lion
dancers, a float, a marching band, the fairy ladies team, a Falun Gong
exercise demonstration squad, and a waist drum squad, was the biggest
team in the parade.

The Celestial Marching Band is composed of more than 150 Falun Gong
practitioners.  The parade marked its debut in Manhattan, New
York.  The musical instruments included various kinds of drums,
cymbals, trumpets, tubas, french horns, clarinets, flutes, piccolos,
saxophones, and others.  They played "Falun Dafa Hao," "America
the Beautiful," and "The Fa Drum and Fa Horn."  The sidewalks were
crowded with audience members.  Many audience members said that it
was the largest marching band they had ever seen in any Chinese New
Year parade.

The brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese
Communist regime has lasted for more than six years.  Falun Gong
practitioners have been clarifying the truth of the persecution to the
whole word with compassion and wisdom, and demonstrating the beauty of
Dafa to the world's people.  Facing the brutality of the Chinese
Communist regime, Falun Gong practitioners' great compassion and great
tolerance has obtained people's understanding and respect.
