[PureInsight.org] Ever since the Minghui website solemnly published articles on the Shen Yun (Divine Performing Arts) 2009 World Tour, Dafa disciples in China have greeted the new form as an opportunity to save people. Many practitioners have wasted no time in making DVDs of the Shen Yun show, joining in the great effort of spreading Shen Yun widely.
After going through difficult times that were full of trials and hardships, most Dafa disciples have now become mature in Dafa cultivation. From purchasing raw DVDs, to burning Shen Yun DVDs and packing them, practitioners have done every step with concentrated attention. A few days ago, I went out to buy two boxes of DVDs for practitioners. Since I had already agreed on the price with the store, I went there and paid the money directly. Then I followed the store manager to the warehouse. The manager was talking to himself: “Recently my business is really good. So many people are buying DVDs.”
I smiled and said: “That is your good luck. So many people are buying DVDs here, so your business must be in good shape. There is an old saying: ‘if you bring convenience to others, you will benefit.’ Nowadays there are so many stores selling DVDs, it is so nice that you can have so many customers.” He nodded: “That’s right!” Then I carried the DVDs away.
I live in a mid-sized city. The economic situation here is relatively good. Most families have DVD players at home and more and more families are starting to buy computers. Therefore, we made more DVDs of the Shen Yun show this year than last year. On the one hand, the sound and video quality of the DVD is much better this year, which better showcases the magnificence and inner meaning of the Shen Yun show. On the other hand, the DVD is easier to carry and distribute. Right now, DVDs of the Shen Yun show are in short supply, so when lucky people get the DVD, they will give it to their friends and relatives. As a result, Shen Yun DVDs have become more convenient when it comes to distributing them. Moreover, practitioners have made very beautiful DVD covers, which everyone loves. This has not only showed the concerted effort of each practitioner, but has also showed the joint efforts from the unselfish and compassionate hearts of practitioners. Some practitioners didn’t have the hardware to make printable DVDs, so they purchased high-quality VCDs covered with beautiful images from the Minghui web site, as this would also save people. Meanwhile, some practitioners made VCDs according to their local conditions. Practitioners did things elaborately, while also harmonizing our whole body.
Several days ago, I gave one of my coworkers the Shen Yun DVD. After he watched it, he admired Shen Yun so much that he said: “This is the first time I have ever seen such a beautiful show with pure compassion and pure beauty! Every program displays enormous compassion, which manifests the essence of Chinese traditional culture. The Shen Yun show deserves to be called a ‘world class’ show. It really lives up to its reputation. It is so beautiful!”
Another friend of mine is an engineer. After he watched the show, he talked to me happily: “Shen Yun is really miraculous!” Then he added: “My mother is in her seventies. She’s had migraine headaches and insomnia for years. Right after she watched the show, her headache was greatly reduced and she had a good night’s sleep that night. Now she watches the show every day. She’s found a treasure! My whole family is very happy. We all like Shen Yun.”
The elegant and pure Shen Yun show is sweeping the whole world and it is hard to buy a ticket. In China also, more and more people have watched and appreciated the show. As spring approaches, the Shen Yun show passes on a message from the gods. Everywhere in China, people are looking forward to seeing Shen Yun. While Shen Yun has gained tremendous popularity in the world, we can’t wait or depend on others. Instead, we need to use our righteous thoughts and compassion, use our wisdom cultivated from the Fa, to disintegrate all the interference from evil in other dimensions and accomplish uprightly what we should do with a pure heart. I hope more and more practitioners can join in the effort to spread Shen Yun widely to save people. We must never be unworthy of Master’s expectation and sentient beings’ hope. Let’s remember our vows and cultivate diligently so that more and more people can watch Shen Yun as soon as possible and enjoy the beautiful and exquisite fine arts.
